Rosario Rovira Guardiola

Rosario Rovira Guardiola is the Library Assistant. She assists the Library Assistant (Periodicals) in selecting journals and books for binding and helps in the enquiry desk. Previously she worked as a Library and Archive Administrator at the Department of Greece and Rome of the British Museum. She is also an Ancient Historian and Archaeologist. She holds a PhD in Ancient History from the University of Barcelona (Spain). Her research focuses on Roman trade and the reception of Hadrian’s Villa in modern literature and art. She is member of the research groups CEIPAC and Imagines and is editor of the volume Ancient Mediterranean Sea in Modern Visual and Performing Arts: Sailing in Troubled Waters (Bloomsbury 2017).
