Covid19 Rules To Continue Beyond 19 July 2021

To continue to stay safe during the pandemic, the Combined Classics Library will keep covid-19 rules in place beyond Monday 19 July until further notice.

The Government recently announced the easing of restrictions in England from Monday 19 July 2021. Due to the nature of the Library spaces, the Combined Classics Library will keep Covid-19 rules in place beyond Monday 19 July until further notice, in order to keep readers and study spaces as safe as possible during the pandemic.

We're happy to have been able to keep essential Library services running throughout the pandemic and the success of this is due to maintaining Covid-19 rules and systems. We appreciate readers' support in continuing to follow these rules beyond Monday 19 July to ensure a safe environment for all.

The booking system will be kept in place to manage numbers onsite and we ask readers to continue to:

Stay alert: check the website or @joliheroics for the latest updates before travel
Always maintain social distancing when seated & moving around the building
Face coverings to be worn at all times in all Library spaces unless exempt*
Everyday kindness: collaborate with staff to calmly respond to changes that ensure your safety

*We strongly encourage those that are exempt from wearing a face covering to display an exemption badge and/or a card on your desk (ask at the library desk if you need one).
